Vitalba in Anfora Albana Romagna DOCG Secco - 2022
Albana is one of the most unique white varieties of Italy and finds its origins in the Emilia-Romagna region. Back in 1987, it became the first white wine DOCG of Italy due to its well-defined quality.
Tremonti is one of the Italian pioneers of Georgian (Kvevri) winemaking amphorae. Amphorae are a wonderful tool: they have proven to be an incredible accelerator and concentrator of the aging of wine, without, however, losing even a pinch of its varietal profile! From 2013, Vitalba was born: a well-succeeded gamble, now the white “flag” of the company.
Intense straw-yellow color with a nose of exotic fruit, dry yellow fruit, and aromatic herbs. Round palate and good texture with elegant freshness. Vinification occurs in Georgian amphora (kvevri) of 470 liters without the addition of selected yeasts and without temperature control. Maceration: from 70 to 120 days (depending on the year). Certified Organic.
