Chakra Verde Verdeca Gioia del Colle DOC - 2022
The Chakra Verde wine comes from vineyards in the beautiful area called "Canale di Pirro," located on the slopes of the Valle d'Itria, a large depression in the heart of the Murgia dei Trulli and a few kilometres away from the Adriatic Sea. The soil in this area is red and clayey with limestone, and there are rocky formations nearby. The grapes used for this wine are 100% Verdeca, and during the winemaking process, they are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine is kept on the fine sediment until February. Bâtonnages expand its volume and harmonize its taste.
