Pinot Noir Preasilus is a testament to the family’s deep passion for this noble variety, cultivated with dedication in the high-altitude vineyards of Preasilus. Nestled between 450 and 600 meters above sea level, the vineyard benefits from a cool microclimate and significant temperature fluctuations, allowing for slow, even ripening that enhances the wine’s freshness and elegance.

Hand-harvested in September at peak maturity, the Pinot Noir grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel to preserve their purity and vibrant aromatics. The wine then rests in oak barrels for several months, gaining depth and refinement. The result is a bright, light ruby-red wine with an inviting bouquet of cherries and wild berries, accented by delicate earthy and spicy notes that reflect its mountainous terroir. On the palate, it is elegant and silky, with fine tannins and a refreshing acidity that make it both versatile and expressive. The finish is long and nuanced, with lingering red fruit and a subtle mineral touch, capturing the finesse and character of its origin.

Dolomiti

Alto Adige, or Südtirol, boasts a striking terroir shaped by the dramatic Dolomites, with vineyards planted at elevations ranging from 200 to over 1,000 meters. The alpine-continental climate features warm days and cool nights, ensuring slow, even ripening that enhances acidity and aromatic intensity. The soils vary widely due to the region’s complex geological history, with porphyry, schist, limestone, and volcanic deposits contributing to the wines’ minerality and structure. Steep slopes provide excellent drainage, forcing vines to develop deep roots and concentrate flavors. This unique environment allows Alto Adige to produce fresh, precise white wines such as Pinot Grigio, Gewürztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as elegant, structured reds like Lagrein and Schiava, all characterized by purity, vibrancy, and a distinct sense of place.
