“It all begins with the soil, the vine, the grape. The smell of the vineyard - like inhaling birth.” - STEVEN SPURRIER

The role of the sommelier goes far beyond mere knowledge of wine: it's a commitment to understanding your most intimate tastes and fulfilling every desire related to wine.

At V I A V I N O, my goal is to inspire and bring people closer to the world of wine by introducing them to hidden gems and lesser-known regions of Italy. I believe in creating tailored experiences that go beyond simply drinking wine—each encounter is designed to be engaging, memorable, and deeply personal. The curated selection of Italian wines reflects a passionate commitment to authenticity, offering a true taste of Italy’s diverse enogastronomic heritage.

In the world of V I A V I N O, the passion and expertise of the sommelier come to life. I’m Mattia Spedicato, a dedicated wine professional with years of experience at the highest level of fine dining. I’ve chosen to share this knowledge through a handpicked collection of Italian wines that speak of tradition, territory, and family.

My oenological journey begins with the understanding that Italian wine is much more than a beverage—it's a story, a legacy, a bond with the land. The selection you'll find at V I A V I N O has been meticulously chosen by me, not only including renowned labels but also shining a spotlight on family-run wineries from lesser-known regions of Italy—producers whose work is rich in soul, passion, and authenticity.

V I A V I N O was born to give voice to these hidden treasures and bring them to the forefront in Denmark. Each bottle tells a story of dedication and love for the land, and I’m here to guide you through this journey of discovery.
