Albana is one of the most unique white varieties of Italy and finds its origins in the Emilia-Romagna region. Back in 1987 become the first white wine DOCG of Italy due to its well-defined quality.

Tremonti is one of the Italian pioneers of Georgian (Kvevri) winemaking amphorae. Amphorae are a wonderful tool: they have proved to be an incredible accelerator and concentrator of the aging of wine, without, however, losing even a pinch of its varietal profile! From 2013, Vitalba was born: a well-succeeded gamble, now white “flag” of the company.

Tre Monti winery started in the 70s with Thea and Sergio Navacchia. Today, David and Vittorio, the children, are looking after the winery's daily tasks. A true Italian family business. Initially, they were seen as revolutionary people because they started lowering the yields in the vineyards in order to be more focused on the quality of the grapes rather than the quantity. Tre Monti is producing wines from local varieties such as Albana and Sangiovese but they are keen on using other varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Classic wines expressing the style of the area are made from these varieties but trying also their macerated wines is a must!
