Vigna Turbian Soave DOC Classico - 2019
Vigna Turbian is a blend based on Garganega and a small percentage of Trebbiano di Soave. The Trebbiano grapes are harvested at the perfect maturity while the Garganega is left to ripe longer on the plant. The marriage of the Trebbiano, fresh and mineral, together with the Garganega create a perfect balance and add complexity to the wine.
Azienda Agricola Nardello right in the heart of the Soave Classico area (precisely Monforte d'Alpone). This appellation makes one of the most remarkable white wines of Italy, from the Garganega grape, on the unique volcanic origin soils of disparate colors. The Nardello family established the winery in the 16th century. The family has a very old winemaking history with a bright future. Daniele and Federica are running the winery today, Daniele is an Oenologist and Federica with her degree in Economy takes care of the administrative part of the winery. A perfect match!
Star bright medium concentrate yellow with a silver hue. Intense fruity notes of ripe pear, peach, and hints of honey and hay. Juicy palate with white apple, orange zest, and crisp acidity. Almond and minerality delineate the finish.
