Colle Ozio is a white wine based on Grechetto. Grechetto is a speciality of Umbria. The wine has a distinct personality, rounded mouthfeel, and elevated minerality. This is a good, straightforward example of this interesting variety, with citrus and tropical fruit flavors as well as a slightly herbal and delicate texture.

Leonardo Bussoletti is a winemaker from the city of Narni. Narni is a historical city located in the Umbria region, right in the heart of Italy. Bussoletti is focused on bringing on the winemaking tradition of the area. In his portfolio, we find wines made with varieties such as Grechetto and Trebbiano Spoletino for the whites, while the reds only from the Ciliegiolo, another autochthonous grape of the region. Leonardo is the pioneer in producing Ciliegiolo wines, traditionally also used in the production of Chianti, but Bussoletti having recognized the potential of this grape he decided instead to produce mono-varietal wines. Thanks to him, Ciliegiolo is now more known around the world.
