Cabernet Franc is undoubtedly one of the most important and ancient varieties in the wine world. This varietal is the parent of Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine made from Cabernet Franc is generally well-structured, paler, lighter, crisper, softer, and more obviously aromatic than that of its progeny Cabernet Sauvignon. The climate of Friuli Venezia Giulia gives a slightly richer fruit-forward flavor to the wine.

Ivan Muzic is been guiding the family company now for 30 years. His great passion for nature and his land makes him a free spirit born to live within his vineyard beside the weather or the season. Orieta, the wife, together with Elija and Fabian, the sons, have been supporting the father's passion both in the vineyards and in the cellar for years. The company holds 20 hectares of planted vines and seems that there is no reason to stop growing. Their mission is first to respect three main objectives: growth, tradition, and environment. This love for nature, its fruits, and the environment let them obtain the MAGIS certification, which guarantees the full environmental sustainability of the wines.

Description:

The sight shows a red ruby color with purple reflections, on the nose recall green and herbaceous notes when young, with aromas of raspberries, red peppers, and cherries. The palate is dry with a balanced complexity and structured tannins.
The wine is vinified with de-stemming and crushing of grapes and the following maceration for six days with constant pumping over. A part is preserved in steel vats, another is separated and aged for 12 months in oak barrels, to be then blended again before bottling.
