Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot blend for this wine. The winery planted in the 70s some Bordeaux varietals in two specific vineyards of theirs. More precisely at Vigna Mazzolano, where the soil is dominated by gravel and sand, perfect for the production of Cabernet Sauvignon. The Vigna Fondo Chiesa is planted with Merlot, considering the rich presence of clay in the soil.

Tre Monti winery started in the 70s with Thea and Sergio Navacchia. Today, David and Vittorio, the children, are looking after the winery's daily tasks. A true Italian family business. Initially, they were seen as revolutionary people because they started lowering the yields in the vineyards in order to be more focused on the quality of the grapes rather than the quantity. Tre Monti is producing wines from local varieties such as Albana and Sangiovese but they are keen on using other varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Classic wines expressing the style of the area are made from these varieties but trying also their macerated wines is a must!
