Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC - 2020

Tenuta Baràc is a beautiful property located in the heart of Piedmont, in the village of San Rocco Seno d'Elvio.

The estate spans 61 hectares, nearly 30 of which are vineyards, exclusively practicing organic farming. Tenuta Baràc, a stunning winery, underwent significant architectural restoration in the early 20th century. Today, it offers comfortable and beautiful rooms, as well as warm hospitality at the adjacent B&B. Situated 250 meters above sea level, Tenuta Baràc provides a view of some of the most spectacular landscapes in the region, including the enchanting sight of Langhe's hills adorned with vineyards. Here, you can have a unique experience in a timeless environment where nature, art, history, elegance, and hospitality naturally blend together. The family welcomes guests and undoubtedly offers one of their fantastic wines—Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, or perhaps a glass of Moscato. The production is managed by the father, daughter, and son, with Alberto, the son, leading the way. In recent years, the quality has greatly improved, capturing the attention of several international reviewers who have recognized this small family-run winery. This recognition has resulted in high scores for their Barbera and Barolo wines.

Tasting notes:

Dark ruby-red colour with violet hints. Intense scents of black fruits, such as plum and black cherry, with light notes of vanilla and cloves. On the palate full bodied with a harmonious light tannin. Long finish and clean with a good freshness.
