Pinot Bianco Berg is a white wine based on a single variety, Pinot Bianco, that has found in Alto Adige one of the best spots to grow. Here this variety shows her unique characteristic, great fruit quality, and body. This variety is also able to show perfectly on which soil is grown, this Pinot Bianco is from "Berg" a clay-calcareous soil.

Ignaz Niedrist winery is located in the Ronco area in Cornaiano in Südtirol. The winery has been part of the Niedrist family for over a century, it was Josef Niedrist who started the business and took care of the production and sale of wine. After the two world wars that devastated the territory were forced to temporarily stop the production of wine. It was later, in the late 1980s and early 1990s, that Ignaz and Elisabeth decided to resume the wine business started by Ignaz's grandfather. Today the family does an impeccable job and produces wines among the best in the region, a great satisfaction after the hard work done to restart the company after the deadlock. Ignaz and Elisabeth decided to have low yields per plant and to choose grape variety according to the vineyard, thus trying to create the best possible combination. In the cellar, they have a little interventionist approach because they want to let the grape variety express for each wine they produce.

Star bright straw yellow. Delicate and elegant, fresh yellow apple, yellow peach and, lemon zest. Dynamic palate, great tension. Long mineral-driven finish with chalky sensation.

The vinification occurs in steel tanks and longer aging on the lees for 6 months.
